good way to communicate in game

Should we use some kind of Messenger to quickly communicate? Other than using the chat on the PS3?

I'd love to but the problem is not everyone has their computer near their tv.

Most people who have mics have their Computer away from their consoles.

People who don't usually have them close.

Makes sense in theory, but I remember one of our clan members saying they had to travel up and downstairs between their computer and their PS3. And they didn't have a mic.

lol that was me i think, but that day it was because i didn't have my laptop at home, now i do and we could use MSN or what-not to communicate i think that the ps3 chat can be a little of a pain considering you have to idle in order to view it.
